2026 Adjudicators

Tom Oliver is in high demand as a voice production educator and adjudicator. Voice Concepts, his private studio, has prepared vocal artists for continued studies in performance, and professional auditions for over three decades. 

Tom is a graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. He returned to Canada to continue vocal research, perform and teach. 

 

In 2004, Tom joined the Voice Faculty of the Sheridan Music Theatre Programme developing curriculum for the vocal production studies. He retired from Sheridan in 2019, to continue his vocal research with his large roster of artists in Voice Concepts Studio. 

 

Bringing the voice to an authentic, expressive and consistent skill is Tom's "magnificent obsession". His students can be heard in Stratford Festival, (Annie,) Mervish Productions, ("Six"," ...Great Comet") and NYC Broadway productions. (currently: "Death becomes her".)

 

Tom is happy to join the Brantford Music Festival adjudication team.
